I apologize that I have not given you an update about our class in some time.  Between testing, professional development and being out for a couple days, time has gotten away from me.

This week in geography, students will continue to work with the 5 themes of geography.  They will be starting a project about the 5 themes as it relates to their own life.  You can find directions for the book on the this blog.  It will be due on November 12th or 13th depending on when your child has geography.  They will also be having  a test on map skills, so look for a study guide to be coming home soon.

Honors students will be continuing to work on their own book about the 5 themes of geography.  Directions for this are on this site.  The book will be due on Nov. 5th and they will be taking a test on this day as well.  Students should be bringing home a study guide to prepare for this.

This week we continued working with latitude and longitude to find absolute locations.  Students should not have any homework over the long weekend.

I hope to see you at conferences!
